Caroline Abramo

Caroline Abramo is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Pana Low Carbon Economy Investments, a majority women-owned, emerging GHG reduction metrics/technology manager focused on a LCE. Ms. Abramo is joined by a world class team of sector specialists, private equity and infrastructure investors, and commodity operators. Ms. Abramo is an experienced and well-regarded leader in commodities, infrastructure, and investments, with over 25 years of industry experience. Ms. Abramo has an extensive knowledge of real assets having completed the commercialization of cutting-edge commodity technologies of many large-scale projects through her career in commodity trading, banking, and investing. From 1994 – 2011, Caroline was a commodity trader and investment banker at Bankers Trust/ Deutsche Bank, CS. Through years of working with senior management teams, Ms. Abramo has cultivated unparalleled relationships with the leading companies in the real assets space. Ms. Abramo’s lifelong sustainability and impact work has included being one of the early pioneers of GHG reduction metrics/technology metrics and the reduction of GHG emissions and arranging private equity financing for the earliest “green companies.” Ms. Abramo founded Pana Advisory in 2011, and has advised and invested in several green companies and platforms. Prior to starting Pana in the fall of 2019, Caroline was a Portfolio Manager for Lazard’s Real Asset and Commodity funds (RALIX and COMDO) with 7 and 5 year track records. Before Lazard, from 2011- 2017, Caroline ran Pana Advisory, working exclusively with Carlyle’s Alternatives and Private Equity platforms. Caroline also ran Bloomberg’s Commodity Portfolio Analytics product. Ms. Abramo is an equity owner in Kimura Capital, a private GHG reduction metrics/technology and sustainable trade finance syndication platform launched in 2016. Ms. Abramo graduated from Bucknell University with a degree in Business Administration and Management.
